Escuela de Talentos

Renovation of a Public School In Collaboration with SUSUKA
The Callao Regional Government asked us to renovate an existing school to implement “La Escuela de Talentos” (ET): an experimental public school for outstanding students with scarce resources (mostly from Pachacutec), applying information and communication technologies in B-learning models.
Although a big technological infrastructure was available, the school building seemed more like a “prison” than a proper learning
facility: unwelcoming pavilions around a harsh concrete yard with no greenery or shade. With very limited time and budget, we proposed to “humanize” the existing building with basic interventions that created green areas and social spaces.
