Litoral
Miraflores, Lima (2022-2026)
Ovalo del Ejercito is the point where neighborhoods of Santa Cruz and San Isidro (Belén, Angamos and Miguel Dasso) meet the coast. Litoral marks that strategic location with an iconic triangular flatiron shape.
But in addition, this mixed use building ‘makes city’ helping in the renovation of the neighborhood towards a true 15-minute compact city. Instead of impenetrable walls or garages, the streets are activated with ground-floor retail, generous 6-meter-wide sidewalks with benches integrated with planted areas for trees creating a welcoming public realm, encouraging pedestrian activity while enhancing comfort and safety.
Above this commercial podium, compact residences enjoy panoramic ocean views through expansive windows and balconies that maximize the site's orientation and privileged setting.
That three-dimensional fabric of houses is threaded with travertine lines that ensure appropriate long-term maintenance, in the face of the intense corrosion of the sea breeze and the sun.
The development comprises 125 private residences, complemented by a rooftop communal park featuring lounges, meeting spaces, a bar, barbecue areas, landscaped gardens, and an infinity pool sheltered from the wind and overlooking the vast horizon of the Pacific Ocean.
